Foursquare Tips

  • Ultra-hipster caf with the crowd to match. Coffee is good, though not extraordinary.
  • Most relaxed cafe with such a great vibe. Fantastic coffee, fantastic food. Share the picnic board. It's a treat. Personal Favorite place in Vancouver.
  • Favorite cafe to get work done! It has an absolutely beautiful atmosphere. Try the avocado toast-- you'll be in heaven. Protip: add a love note to the mailboxes for regulars.
  • Best sandwich place in Gastown. (Concluded from trying all the sandwich places in the area... FOR SCIENCE)
  • Be my old school pen pal! Leave me a note in my drawer :)
  • If the place is crowded, don't hesitate to stand at the wall bar with your cup, as required in many places around the world, and indulge. Otherwise, grab a seat at the communal table and relax.
  • The Picnic Board is great to share: bread, cheese, figs, nuts, preserves, dipping oils, cilantro pesto, pomegranate seeds & meat from Big Lou's. Nom!
  • Did you know you can get a "suspended coffee", here? No, it's not a new way to pull coffee but a system of pre-buying an extra cup of coffee for someone less fortunate than you to claim. Pass it on.
  • A real flat white! Well oxidized(not burnt) beans, none of this flowery gourmet nonsense. Light creamy made milk. And the onsite baked bread is exceptional fresh and toasted. Yay!
  • Get a Flat White, it's like a latte but better, with micro-foamed milk. Also, try the brownies.
  • Simple but amazingly tasty. The avocado on toast.
  • Try their house made burgers with green bean fries. Served Thursday to Sunday at 6pm-10pm! Yum!
  • Herbivore sandwich for lunch & lifechanging baking waiting for you to indulge it nearby the till. Lemon custard tart & blueberry + cream cheese cupcake = some favourites.
  • Great pour over, nice open concept space with high ceilings, and the staff is very friendly!
  • Sandwiches are a bit overpriced, but love the atmosphere here and the coffee was very good!
  • Soggy sandwiches
  • The lemonade is on point. Not to sweet or citrus tasting. Perfect combo.
  • Cheese wheel! Don't hesitant and get yourself one. Tasty and cheesy.
  • Just the bakery smell is enough, but add the coffee and its next level.
  • Great sourdough. The sandwiches are huge and open face, but a little unstable. Better eaten with a fork if you don't want it all over your lap.
