Foursquare Tips

  • Book in advance or get your concierge to organise. The degustation with matching wines is a must. No reservation? Get a seat at the bar for the bar snack menu - don't miss the world famous pork buns.
  • Definitely sit at the seats along the kitchen and watch the amazing flow of the chefs. One of the best meals of my life. Ben, the exec chef, is awesome and will chat you up.
  • Chef David Chang's first restaurant outside of New York is a new Sydney gem. Make sure you allow at least 2 hours for your meal, a tasting menu featuring local farmers and artisans.
  • Had a tough day? Just head over to the bar, have a drink, and get the best fucking pork buns in the universe.
  • Can walk in and get an amazing crab roll at the bar if you weren't stealthy enough to nab a reservation online
  • It's the one with the peach. Across from Zumbo. Doesn't have a sign.
  • Pork Buns are good.. Nomnomnomnom
  • Love the Shortrib dish and finally got to taste the pork buns :)
  • The chefs get involved by bringing you the plates and table talking! Very cool experience with the rock/hiphop music. There's a 5 seat bar menu for walk-ins if you don't get an online reservation
  • Eating creativity
  • The best tasting menu I have ever had
  • Yep that bar menu is a find. Best value dining in Sydney. Exceptional cooking at bargain prices!
  • The tasting menu with the drink pairing is incredible. Such a well thought out experience that was completely worth it. A chicken salad with chicken skin was an unforgettable course.
  • So nice and personal having the chefs who prepare your dish actually present them to you!
  • Marron with roti. Holy yum!
  • Great tasting menu, but the bar menu looks like a real find. Lots of talent in the kitchen.
  • Not very impressive. Although the quality of ingredients were premium, while on taste side, lots of dishes were too salty. Service was quite average as well. Enjoyed the choux and duck only.
  • The pork buns and the spicy honeycomb tripe dish!
  • No reservation no problem. Eat from the limited bar menu instead. Superb. Open Monday night too!
  • Amazing experience, go with an open mind & an empty stomach-those 11 courses look tiny but they add up! Sorrel & pistachio/curd & blackcurrant my faves & not normally a sweet fan.
