Tips

  • The $20 special that everyone is talking about is called twilight dinner. And it's the jam. Choose sushi or sashimi and then the parade of food begins!
  • Get the Afternoon Plate. Amazing food, very reasonably priced. I would say it's the best "teishoku" () I've had outside of Japan.
  • Very good but the Omakase for two was a bit overpriced for what we received. The recommended Kagua brew was delicious with sushi though.
  • Nice Omakase at a reasonable price!
  • Salmon oyako don
  • One of the best in lower manhattan that is not super expensive. not cheap but most authentic and Japanese you can get around this block.
  • $20 special before 6:30 includes a great salad, miso soup, a ton of tempura, grilled fish, tuna roll + 1 each salmon/yellowtail/tuna sushi (or 3 each sashimi and rice), and fresh fruit plate. HELLO.
  • Sashimi platter
  • The afternoon set is amazing
  • Incredibly small expensive portions.. Spicy tuna roll is very sub par and the tartar is a joke... I wouldn't suggest coming here- this coming from an avid sushi fan.
  • Sashimi lunch set , Uni sashimi and seaweed salad! I will come back just for the wasabi they served!
  • The wasabi! It is so fresh and perfectly matches with my sashimi! I could not help bit ask for the brand they used ;)
  • The tempura is usually overlooked on the menu. The ginkgo nuts, broccoli and shiso leaf add a slightly heavier balance to the sublime lighter than air sushi here.
  • You're on the fence. Go for the lunch special. It's delicious and much more filling than a la carte.
  • Try the Cha Soba - Love the broth
  • Best miso soup in town. Very unconventional flavor.
  • watch out for fruit flies!
  • We ordered Omakase sashimi for two ($120) big mistake. Everything was brought out at the same time in a plate and let's it. None of it were special sashimi.
  • Sushi & Sashimi combo & Kamotsuru Saki + great service = Def Repeat!
  • The toilet is reason enough to come here
