Foursquare Tips

  • Get Yolanda's special. You won't be disappointed.
  • Horrible service. The guy was soo rude and was saying rude comments about my table as he walked inside. The food was decent but wasn't worth the rude service.
  • Order one of the Mexico City Specials! So fresh and incredibly tasty.
  • Antonio handed me an updated business card tonight reading "the treasure of Los Angeles". I couldn't describe this place any better!
  • Opened in 1970 before Melrose became trendy, this Mexican restaurant is dark, with an old school feel, including wrought iron, Mexican tile and walls full of old photos.
  • Great enchiladas and friendly service
  • The best enchiladas and super friendly & quick service!
  • Margaritas, GUAC and Fajitas Diablo~! Have to request your fajitas spicy but just ask, they're so awesome!
  • Here to eat lunch with the fam bam. Best Mexican food ever!!!!
  • Don't come here if you're on a 1-hr lunch break. You won't make it back to work in time.
  • Pollo con Chipotle
  • Unbelievable margaritas
  • After one bite of the pico I realized it tasted strong of MOLD. The vegetable tostada was just vegetables from the soup spooned onto a tostada .The worst and most expensive Mexican food I hardly ate.
  • Margaritas were s t r o n g and not nearly as good as El Coyote.
  • Nice family owned restaurant. Some paintings are made by the owners family.
  • They will always go to the house tequila. It's not bad but get what you want. Dig the spot.
  • Real and Authentic Mole Negro. Almost as exceptional as their Tequila selection, Margarita up!!!
  • Great Mexican food. Some of the best I've found.
  • I have to agree. The Mole is stupendous.
  • Best mole ever.
