Foursquare Tips

  • Hands down, the BEST "Return and Exchanges" policy in the industry:
  • There is a kids play area in the back, by the shoes.
  • This parking lot sucks
  • Ask for Jim Whalen on the weekends. Boulder native, local skateboard hero in the 70s, and super knowledgable, helpful and friendly.
  • Not even a shadow of what REI was meant to be just another corporate behemoth bent on power and money
  • Most REI's have used gear sales for members. This one has garage sales! Check them out! Also later in the day the reduce price even more to move merchandise!
  • #ProTip: to avoid long opening lines for @REI's garage sale, come in later or Sunday for equally remarkable deals and slelection - new warehouse sale stuff comes out all hours, all weekend long!
  • Good selection of equipment
  • Nice return policies (long terms, new or used) make it easier to decide to buy something.
  • Selection is good, but none of the staff I met (3-4) had any helpful knowledge of the products I was interested in. Disappointing, and I ended up going to Boulder Running Co. for trail shoes.
  • Wish we had one of these
  • Great gopro class
  • kids' play area was taken out due to flood damage
  • They had camping chairs - sized just right, for me and my kid - early in the spring! Guess that makes up for the premium I paid for them!
  • REI sucks anymore
  • New ski jacket whoop!
  • If what you want looks like it is out of stock, ask an employee. They often have more in the stockroom.
  • Great bike repair service!
  • Go to a class or event
