Tips

  • Another tip, brah. The squat rack is not called "biceps curl rack" for a reason. So how 'bout you do your curls elsewhere and let people who need to do squats do their squats?
  • Here's a tip, bro. How about, after you're done with your totally killer reps, you take the dumbbells/bars/whatever you were using and re-rack them? You could even try putting them in the right place.
  • Take total body on Friday with Rick and watch Taylor do bicep curls with no weights
  • Yoga on Wednesday at 7:45 with Rebecca: it's hard in the best way. You won't regret it.
  • Working out is only half of the battle... start in the kitchen and stop that yo-yo eating habit today! You'll thank us later!
  • E 76th is a great location. Comfortable & friendly staff - really like it.
  • Be sure to stretch before exercising!
  • Troy's total body conditioning classes on Saturday are a great work out
  • Use only newest treadmills. Old ones bad for knees...
  • So very nice
  • A defective machine hit me so hard when i released the handle. Almost broke my head. The place is crowded and smelly but oh well.
  • Terribly calibrated machines and even worse ventilation make for one awful workout experience. Thanks for the charity, NYSC, but I'd rather make the 80 min round trip to my old gym downtown.
  • Bring your own towel, there are neverrrr any clean ones and they frequently run out. Other than that, decent gym. The walk to 86th instead is worth it
  • Expect to wait for a cardio machine on the weekends around 10:30 am
  • Try the treadmills!
  • Nysc fail - way too crowded and not enough machines
  • Take Christal's yoga class Tues/Thurs at 7 PM
  • Place is a mess
  • Helens pilates classes are AMAZING!! So are Saras core conditioning classes!!
  • This is the dirtiest NYSC I've ever seen, and over the last few years, I've been a regular at quite a few. Otherwise it does the job. Just wish they'd clean it more.
