  • Take a stroll in the gardens on a Sunday afternoon for a free guided tour (12pm-2.30pm). Delfin approved ;)
  • Un lugar poco conocido por los turistas. Se encuentra en Dublin 7, al norte de la ciudad. Lo cruza en canal y puedes pasear en un ambiente de tranquilidad. Indispensable el jardin de rosas
  • There are friendly squirrels in the trees at the back of the buildings. Bring a treat for them.
  • If you wanna see some squirrels amongst many other things.... Head to the Botanic gardens...
  • Great place to visit when it ain't raining. Check out the pond there are cute ducks; you could also find squirrels roaming around if you search hard enough!

  • There is a smaller coffee shop if the main one is full

  • Botany aside... for visitors: Make sure you've a 2euro coin handy to get out of the car park. Coffee shop is good, tho I like to bring a flask and picnic.
  • The greenhouses are great. Watch out for the squirrels. They're not afraid of people at all - they will crawl on you!! :D

  • Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days and only open during winter months from 0930 to 1630 so arrive early. The gardens back onto Glasnevin Cemetary which have free tours available twice daily!
