  • Your time at Coney Island isn't complete without a Nathan's Famous hot-dog!
  • Home to long lines, the annual 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest and hands down the best Chili Cheese Dog and Waffle Fries in the city.
  • I haven't had a hotdog at Nathan's for 20 years... First we ride the cyclone.
  • More than 30,000 fans pack the corner of Surf and Stillwell to watch the masters of competitive eating. For a more traditional thrill, stroll down the block to the Cyclone rollercoaster.
  • Get a hotdog, put mustard and ketchup on it. Get cheese fries and old fashioned lemonade. Eat on the grass in the new park by the boardwalk Nathans. Enjoy!
  • It's not all about hot dogs (though that's probably what you're here for)the french fries and clams are popular choices, too. You can even buy frog's legs at the Surf Avenue location, if you dare.
  • Good any time of the year. The lines on the right side of the building near the tables are usually the shortest in the summer. In the winter - the place is yours!
  • Want to taste the best franks in the world go here now!!
  • You can get fries, drinks, and hot dogs (including corn dogs) much quicker at the "Express Lanes" on the right side of the counter.
  • The $5.99 Lobster Salad Sandwich seems, oddly enough, to actually be made out of lobster.
  • Saddle up to the outside hot dog line on the side & order yourself a corn dog. Or stand under the terrace for 3x as long like a shmuck. Your call.
  • After the Hurricane famous Nathan's was destroyed!!!! Amongst other businesses in Coney Island! Coney Island took a massive hit! & lost a trade mark! Nathan's will never be the same again!
  • Home to the annual Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Competition.
  • Great burgers. The fries are delicious.
  • Use the white garbage can as a de facto table.
  • Slow as he'll service. Clientle is disgusting and rude
  • I love the little red French fry forks. They're like crab forks but for poor people.
  • PHOTO: The Fourth of July Hot Dog Contest at Nathans is a Coney Island tradition. Check out this great pic from 1999's 83rd annual!
  • Don't go inside to order.the outside counter windows are faster during the summer! A lot of lines and more cashiers make it faster.
