Tips

  • The pulled pork tore through my colon like a wild boar in the Oklahoma wetlands.
  • what weve tried definitely hit the spot: the corn fritters, shrimp cakes, the Texan smoked brisket, braised short ribs and burger -- especially with a few beers on a warm L.A. night.
  • The oysters were great, good beers, but the food (brick chicken) was a bit salty-otherwise still super good and delicious. Definitely going back.
  • The mac & cheese w pork belly & hatch chilis is BEYOND!
  • The Amanda is tart and spicy and a little herbaceous, and its one of those drinks where if youre a craft cocktail snob and you dont do vodka, order it and then see what you have to say about it.
  • $1 oysters and $5 dollar beers on Tuesdays. Need I say more? Yes, try the braised porkbelly and scallop with leek and the Mac n cheese.
  • Jesse was nice. Food was mediocre. Overcooked salmon w bland lentils. Ok scallops w over salted gnocchi. Tasteless cheddar grits. Great balsamic greens. All wine glasses smelled strong of dish soap
  • Their burger was cooked to perfection! The Mac&cheese was also good especially combined with a flight of Whiskey. Through which you may find a new favourite!
  • Shitty parking. Crowded on weekends.
  • A summer-camp-themed restaurant, MessHall boasts important cocktails and glammed-up 1940s dinner party food.
  • Pie in a jar is not pie, no matter how many homemade Nilla Wafers are arranged around the top, no matter how artisanal the Mason jar may appear in the light cast by dim fruit-crate chandeliers.
  • The French fries are excellent, perfectly crisp and almost vanishingly airy.
  • If you're feeling adventurous, order the loaded dice!
  • Not family friendly...food was mediocre at best. Cool, hop vibe - best for singles and couples
  • Bloody Mary is ok. Good coffee. Better than average food, but not spectacular.
  • Awesome drink and cocktail selection and the food is franfreakingtastic :)
  • Waited a very long time for service. Finished the app before receiving the first drink. Despite the ridiculously long delays the food was delicious. Def try the short ribs! Yummy! Jesse was nice.
  • "Roll the Dice!" Bartenders choice, you have no input but the cocktail is only $8.
  • Mac and cheese + chiles + pork = awesome.
  • Sunday BBQ is an amazing deal!!
