  • In 1918 the Jacksonville Rotary Club came up with a concept to honor the 1200 Floridians who perished in WWI. The city purchased the property and dedicated the park on Christmas Day 1924.
  • Best place to go cruising, the bushes on the left is the best. This place is a HOT-SPOT!!!
  • Beautiful field for a picnic on sunny days
  • Great place to hang out on a sunny Saturday or Sunday. Bring a your pup and enjoy free people watching. Maybe if you are lucky, you will be in time to watch a kickball match!

  • After a great day playing kickball or whiffle ball at this Olmsted Brothers beauty go to European Street Cafe for a great sandwich and beer.

  • Beautiful park... It is on the water with giant shady trees. It is also in Riverside which is an up and coming area. I highly recommend the park.
