Foursquare Tips

  • A cab caught fire outside Mamoun's and I tried putting it out with their red sauce but the cab transported to hell and exploded instead.
  • This place is nothing fancy, but it's one of the the best falafel sandwiches in town. Crisp nutty falafel jammed into a split pit, lathered with tahini and topped with the works. Hot sauce optional.
  • the most amazing shawarma (especially when paired with the whole wheat). get the hummus on the side and save it for a good late-afternoon snack
  • Props for their wall featuring a Village Voice review from 1976.
  • Btw, the hot sauce is hotter than hot.
  • Cash only!
  • Tasty falafels, quick and affordable
  • First time I'm having a falafel. My life is now significantly better.
  • It's not hot sauce. It's battery acid.
  • Don't have too much of the hot sauce .. but try it .. its the "liquid form of God" :)
  • The falafel on plate is AWESOME and only $5. Everybody needs to try it! (and who said it was the "1000 Places To See Before You Die")
  • Falafel sandwiches are now $3.50
  • Only $4.25 for a Falafel Sandwich and a soda. Nothing compares to Mamoun's!
  • Unbelievably fast, delicious, and cheap shawarma.
  • Amazing. I love everything about this place.
  • Amazing if your up for something quick, cheap, and delicious.
  • try the lamb shwarma and mango juice!
  • Best tasting lamb in a shawarma from any place I've been to.
  • Is it me or the falafel isn't as good as it was a coupla years ago?
  • Avoid this over-hyped restaurant that smells like a sweltering public bathroom and has falafel that tastes a bit like it smells. Even on a student budget, $2.50 for this crap isn't worth it.
