Foursquare Tips

  • a Korean BBQ place that's on 35th, not 32nd "Korea Town"way better than any of the places on 32nd.
  • Bulgogi is fantastic. If its your first time at Korean BBQ, the oranges are to eat. Don't embarrass yourself by wiping your hands with them.
  • Recommended: Savory pancakes, kimchi soup, noodles in cold broth, yook hwe, saeng galbi, bulgogi, dweiji bulgogi.
  • Far and away the best Korean BBQ I've found in Manhattan.
  • The assorted BBQ platter is awesome and plenty of food with te banchan
  • Can't go wrong with kalbi or joomuluk. For lunch get the juksuk bibimbap. The nicest staff in the world.
  • Love the kimchee pancake!
  • Try the barbecue pork, chicken, and/or marinated rib. Excellent!
  • Cafeteria style atmosphere and average food - better off going to the main ktown area a few streets south
  • There are several Korean restaurants next door and I do recommend to go to another one. The service at Madangsui is on a very low level.
  • The yangnyum galbi is sooo good!
  • my fave Korean BBQ in Manhattan. Get the seafood Pa jun & any of the combo BBQ plates. Cucumber soju is delicious.
  • Kimchi chigae is best in the city
  • Order The New York Times suggestions.. That's says it all!
  • seafood on rice! they serve yogurt milk drink towards the end of your meal.. :)
  • Make sure to order enough BBQ items (as in 2 for a party of 2) or else the portions/service isn't worth it.
  • Complimentary doenjang chigae and steamed egg rock! I always get the kimchee pancake, marinated kalbi, kimchee kalbi chigae. Mul naengmyun is good too.
  • Cheap cheap July summer lunch specials. Naengmyun for $7? Holla!
  • Hostess significantly underestimates the wait.
  • Delizioso, vario e abbondante. Assolutamente da provare! :)
