Foursquare Tips

  • Menu was created by Chef Raymond Mohan, who was named one of the countrys best new cooks in 2009 by Esquire Magazine.
  • A Cape Cod\Caribbean mash up with an island focus that gives new meaning to seafood. Crabby dip with callaloo is a keeper. That salmon sandwich is right up there. Turn down that music! Back garden???
  • All the starters are worth ordering but if you had to pick, I'd go with the conch fritters and jerk ribs. Crispy shark sandwich is meaty and juicy. Cool back garden for your summer delight!
  • You can't go wrong. I haven't had a dish I didn't like (so far). Next on the list is the cauliflower.
  • "Authentic Caribbean food in Harlem that's worth the trip. Grab a picnic table outside with your friends and order one of everything." - Alexa Mehraban, @EatingNYC
  • Johnny Cakes, Chicken Wings, and conch fritters to share - with a Shark & bake (to yourself)- all washed down with ginger beer.. If you're still hungry throw in an order of crab legs. Thank me later
  • Salmon + Bake is delicious
  • Everything is yummy! The "chips" are addictive and the Crabby Dip (with plantain chips) and shark and bake sandwich are must haves
  • Serious flavor. Shark, shrimp. Must try all the house spicy sauces.
  • Shark & bake is incredible!
  • An ode to Saint Martin beach shacks, this uptown seafood joint serves Belizean conch fritters with lime-zest rmoulade and baked shark with salsa verde on its Caribbean-teal backyard patio.
  • It specializes in dishes that have a burst of island flavor, including Caribbean street foods as well as New England classics like Snow Crab Steampots.
  • Tried the $5 special meals. The shrimps were amazing, burger was ok. Bear in mind - these are snacks, so the portions are not big at all. Great price for seafood.
  • The stars of the menu are seafood boils featuring crawfish, crab legs, or shrimp swimming in flavored broth that can be customized with Lolos signature sauces. Appetizers here are not to be missed!
  • Fun casual place, food is ok. Come to hangout and relax, but dont get hung up on the quality and taste. In the warmer weather it might be better.
  • The shark bake is flaky, super juicy, and wrapped in a scallion johnnycake. Absolutely delicious
  • Tasting Table Top 10 Seafood Shacks (US):"... kitschy Caribbean hole-in-the-wall in Harlem is so legit you'll swear you were dining oceanside..." Conch fritters & snow crab legs (try coco curry sauce)
  • This popular Caribbean seafood shack in Harlem offers a petite back patio, a bright turquoise deck populated with a handful of stools and picnic tables.
  • The food was very delicious however the service was fantastic. The folks that work there couldn't be nicer. Order up front, grab a beverage then sneak out back to sit outside while you wait.
  • Crab dip and plantain chips are delicious
