  • You'd better like steak frites if you're going to this small Melrose brassiere, 'cause it's LITERALLY THE ONLY ENTREE THEY SERVE. It also comes with soup or salad, and comes in TWO SERVINGS.
  • Best stacks in LA
  • Same concept as L'entreocote restaurant in London and Paris
  • Great great food. Come w am appetite friends cuz u get twice the 2nd course.
  • Had a great nite with 7 friends, staff was friendly and the food was excellent. Drove quite a ways, but all said it was worth the trip!
  • The menu has expanded from it's previous simplicity, but their sous-vide steak frites is still what you should get.
  • Steak Frites,, delicious soup
  • They offer fish and vegetarian alternative. Great French cheeses w/ best wines. Ask about steak/fries truffle version. They often try new appetizers like this trout in caviar sauce. Photo at bar.
  • Food delicious. Price is great. Great ambiance especially later when local industry people pop in. Beautiful wide bar perfect for 1 person to eat at. Hook underneath for purses!
  • Steak is great quality, cooked French style. sous vide, making it very tender absorbing delicious sauce. Great value considering all you get including 2nd helping of hot meat and fries..
  • Weird service of presenting 2 servings, staff did not explain this, or much of anything else. Steak is very low quality, tough, and chewy, even though we ordered medium rare. Will not be coming back.
  • This place was great! Good value. The steak was tender and delicious and the fries were great.
  • Do not miss their signature dish, steak frites, served open face on a baguette with pommes frites, on their special dineLA lunch menu, January 19, 2015 - February 1, 2015.
  • Enjoy a $15 lunch and $30 three-course dinner during dineLA's restaurant week Jan. 19, 2015 - Feb. 1, 2015.
  • Steak served in 2 parts, in your temp choice - mine was a perfect medium. The beignet style profiterols were delicious - ice cream inside, choco sauce outside.
  • From 9:30pm -midnight (10:30pm on the weekends) they serve demi-sized steak frites portions for $16 along with poutine fries covered in house sauce & roasted goat cheese or open-faced steak sandwiches
  • Just barely a year old, LAssiette is a Parisian bistro that specializes in one of the City of Lights favorite late night meals: steak frites.
  • Food is great. What is even greater though is that they offer refills in steak and fries!!

  • Profiteroles for dessert! Still can't believe they give 2nds of the steak frites!! Only $$ not $$$- another plus for the classy/romantic ambience with best portions I've had a French restaurant
