  • The chocolate speaks for itself at Jacques Torres but what goes under the radar is their hot chocolate! Seriously it's almost like drinking melted chocolate. So so good, especially in the wintertime.
  • Since these cookies are so chocolate focused, sourcing a really fine bittersweet is key here, this is the time to break out the big guns--Scharffen Berger, Callebaut, or Valrhona are all good picks
  • Go here for chocolate chip cookies if you like them thinner and crisper, but still a bit chewy. Also, Jacques Torres is justifiably famous for his hot chocolate
  • Wicked hot chocolate is best in the city!
  • the hot chocolate is a must on a cold day in the winter. and their orange chocolates are very good too.
  • Cookies are thinner (and yummier?) than the Levain treats down the block.
  • Their classic hot chocolate is delicious! This Jacques Torres version and the City Bakery hot chocolate are the best in NYC - but JT is cheaper!
  • The famous choclatier must be doing something right--he's popping up shops all over! Try some of his decadent hot chocolate, or perhaps a truffle is more your style--either way you can't go wrong!
  • Cookies! Amazing...especially when sandwiched around the coffee ice cream.
  • Get the wicked hot chocolate
  • The wicked hot chocolate and frozen hot chocolate are delicious; the champagne truffle was amazing!
  • Pricey. Good malted milk balls, but, for the money, I prefer Whoppers.
  • get the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. Ask them to make it fresh.
  • Decent hot chocolate
  • the hot chocolate is velvety but its not like Ghirardelli's that is like drinking drinking melted chocolate.
  • open til 7 Sunday
  • rich, delicious chocolate in every variety. ice cream, cocoa, bonbons. dark and delicious.
  • Cookies are great, though I come in here most often for the iced coffee.
  • The hot chocolate is so thick and rich! Never had anything like it.
  • The best chocolate!
