It’s been a bit quiet at the two Hophouse locations on Hawthorne and NE 15th in Irvington but new events manager Kirstin Seitz is kicking things up with IPA Month. For the entire month of January twelve of Oregon’s most popular IPA’s will be on tap with your chance to vote on the best.
In the past, Boneyard RPM and Fort George’s Vortex have been the victors in previous versions of IPA Month but it was never a “blind” tasting before now. The votes will only be collected if the voter drinks from an unmarked flight of Oregon’s 12 IPA’s for $12.
The list of IPAs in the running for Oregon’s best are: Boneyard RPM, Fort George’s Vortex, Double Mountain Hop Lava, Ninkasi Total Domination, Crux Outcast, Barley Brown’s Pallet Jack, Breakside, Gigantic, Migration Luscious Lupulin, Goodlife Descender, Hop Valley Alphadelic, Laurelwood Workhorse.
