Tips

  • Allow me to live the lie that gelato is better for you than ice cream, and Ill reward you with the secret to ending a sticky NYC night in bliss.
  • Order any flavor that contains chocolate, chocolate chips, and/or espresso.
  • Owners Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom are so fanatical about the ingredients that go into their gelati and sorbetti that they own their own farm in Piedmont.
  • Indulgent, rich, and pleasing gelato. -Eric Wolitzky, Top Chef Just Desserts
  • Try the pistachio gelato!
  • Delicious if pricey gelato straight from Italy. Excellent hot chocolate as well.
  • My favorite here is the dark hot chocolate with two scoops of hazelnut gelato.
  • The sorbet is extra refreshing on a hot day; get pink grapefruit if it's available!
  • The best gelato you will get outside of Italy. Keep in mind that the sizes are Italian, not American! (Small actually means small.) Bacio, (hazelnut & chocolate,) is a personal favorite. :)
  • they have the best tiramisu gelato
  • Pink grapefruit sorbet. Yum yum!!
  • Order the Crema di Grom with a cone. Closest thing to real Italian gelato in New York.
  • Best gelato in NYC esp the hazelnut and crema di grom
  • Yogurt & baccio is a must.
  • The dark chocolate hot chocolate here is perfect and decadent. Underrated.
  • Just like the locations in Italy! Try the salted caramel with the dark chocolate sorbet.
  • Italians said nocciola and cholate are delicious!
  • What a refreshing -albeit expensive- treat!
  • so yummy...
  • Cones further west on bleeker street is way better - and not as expensive!!
