Tips
- Classic italian done right. The Mad Calamari smothered in spicy marinara is a MUST. Go with the penne w/ vodka sauce or carbonara and you'll leave happy. Pay with cover and skip waiting for the check!
- Get the galli salad you won't be disappointed
- A great place to come for classic Italian comfort food - the rice balls and meatball sliders are must-order dishes. For those with a gluten allergy, they make delicious gluten-free homemade pastas.
- Rice balls are life changing
- The decor is classic New York cool (ie. Exposed brick, retro tiles, dim lights, sexy hostesses). Our service was slow but friendly; food was on par. The Mad Calamari was the highlight.
- Classic Italian. Whole section of the menu dedicated to "Parm." There is whole-wheat pasta with beans and escarole that looks like a salad met some noodles
- As chairman emeritus of the Foursquare Pasta Club, I heartily endorse this place and the pesto pasta magic it makes
- Good date spot/ lunch spot/ dinner spot / life spot
- "mad calamari" - fried calamari in spicy marinara sauce
- the norma is delicious! also, get the mad calamari.
- Amazing food, Great staff, great vibes.
- Book on Savored and don't forget the magic mushrooms!!
- Anything with their house red sauce is fantastic. Loved the 'drunken' calamari...CEO lightly breaded it could be healthy.
- The bolognese pasta was really good. It's a great new Cover spot.
- Psst: you can get really good coffee here in the morning. Don't forget to use Cover.
- Whatever you do, get the Mad Calamari.
- Pasta Vongole tastes good. However, the white wine tastes a bit too strong and overtones the wished fish taste. However, still a great meal!
- If you love carbonara, take that one! But watch out, they add peas, not everyone's taste.
- Great calamari. Share it as a starter. Awesome grill taste with the right amount of spicy!
- The pasta is awesome, the atmosphere is chic and the price is affordable but NYC standards. Totally worth it.
