Foursquare Tips

  • Dude bartender with the ponytail (btw... ponytail? really dude?) is a douche and bad bartender. The rest are rad.
  • Small spot that attracts really good bands. There isn't a bad seat in the place. -Danielle Keene, Top Chef Just Desserts
  • Be sure to keep your feet planted on the ground during heavy-bass shows. The sound system is one of the best I've heard.
  • Looking for a bit of fresh air? Go up to the rooftop for a drink or a cigarette during the show, you can still watch whats happening projected onto the wall!
  • A date venue that lets you transition from awkward silence to a bump and grind in the course of a few hours.
  • Great venue, great stage! Buy a GA Floor ticket, though.
  • Look at the walls!
  • Make sure you catch Anthony Green play here on 12/15!
  • Looking for a bit of fresh air? Go up to the rooftop for a drink or a cigarette during the show, you can still watch whats happening projected onto the wall!
  • New Music Seminar is hosting the New Music Seminar LA opening night party here Feb 14th 6pm 2011.
  • Take your shirt off.
  • They ain't got no roof bar no more, yo.
  • Saw Passion Pit!!!
  • Ohlala fest tonight. French Pop!
  • You can usually find free parking up the street and around the corner just down from Hollywood Presbyterian. Check posted signs as they vary per half block in that area.
  • Really light security. Bring a flask and avoid the insanely expensive cocktails. Ya heard?
  • The sound system is incredible, making the balcony the most magical spot for music in LA. Order the Kobe Brew Burger & Sweet Potato Fries from the adjoining Blue Palms Brewhouse.
  • Check out the view
  • I hope tonight's audience is really loud...they are in for a treat
  • Roof top is open, no bars. Bummer.
