  • Don't let the line scare you away. It goes pretty fast. Order a margarita pizza. It is super yummy and cheesy and not on the menu. Do it!
  • Expect a line. It's worth the wait.
  • One of the hidden jewel restsurants in San Diego. If u are visiting or live here and love Italian food made fresh ans authrntically you must eat here!
  • Make sure and get the Caprese (tomato & mozzarella) salad. It's not on the menu but it's magnificent.
  • Simply the best pepperoni pizza!
  • Best antipasto around! Add a little grated cheese, salt & pepper and voila! The chicken parm is awesome too.
  • I just wrote a crazy-ass, in-depth review of Filippi's and my phone rang. Came back and it had vanished. Anyway, eat here, it's good.
  • Be prepared to wait in line......the best thing to order is the SMALL antipasto salad, 1/2 carafe of wine, and share one of the combo dinners...perfect for two people...
  • This place sucks! People who say the pizza is great have never eaten a good pizza.
  • Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Little Italy!
  • Add some cheese to the garlic bread.
  • Get the "Works" and ask for Irene the "waitress goddess."
  • A must-visit when staying at one of HotelTonight's Little Italy hotels. But go early or late to avoid crazy waits (or just spend the time stocking up on tasty vittles at the adjacent market).
  • The penocha pizza pie is to die for. Try it with a side of sugar walls.
  • The food is excellent!!
  • Don't go anywhere else. This is the best restaurant in little Italy . We have been going here for the past seven years and never cease to amaze us. Down to earth, excellent service, great food. I it
  • Hidden behind what looks to be a small convenience store is a pizza place with a cheesy and delicious 8 topping Filippi's special. Service was nice and quick, and the food was amazing.
  • The portions are huge! Split an entre, a salad and a bottle of Chianti and you'll be happy.
  • Best food ever! Antipasta salad, ham and pineapple pizza.... Garlic bread.... By far the best food I've had in a long time! Can't wait to come back again! This is really a hidden jewel!
  • The original restaurant is the best! Ask for thin crust. I love the works!!
