Eugene, Oregon’s The Tap & Growler is hosting a Barrel Aged Beer Week kicking off today Monday, Janyar 12th and runs through Sunday the 18th. The fest includes a Best Barrel Aged Brew Blind Taste-off and Daily Releases of Rare and/or Popular Barrel Aged Beers every day of the week.

The Tap & Growler will host this month’s version of their Eugene’s Best Brew Series. Congratulations to McKenzie Brewing for winning Eugene’s Best Holiday/Winter Brew in December. For January, The Best Barrel Aged Brew in Eugene will consist of a blind tasting open to the public. Ten of the currently operating breweries in the Eugene area have submitted a beer aged on wood, most of them barrel aged. Anyone and everyone can come in and buy a taster tray (blinded) and sample all ten of these brews and vote for their top 3 beginning Monday, January 12that 11:30 AM and continuing thru Sunday the 18th at closing. The results will be released Monday, January 19th at 5:30 PM. Each beer was hand selected by the brewery, the breweries are:
