Tips

  • They distribute produce grown by local farmers. Check out their events with local musicians while you're there.
  • Hands down, the most frustrating parking lot in Austin
  • A great playground for toddlers and kids from 1 - 12 with lots of seating and shade nearby. Also a good size lawn for playing.
  • Get the love dip :) It's amazing!
  • Any wine that's on "Seth's List" is a sure winner.
  • Although the cafe's wine is cheap, buying a bottle from the grocery to eat inside is even cheaper.
  • Parents can eat a sandwich and sip iced tea (or a glass of wine) while the little ones attack the well-shaded playground.
  • great produce; really terrible white people dancing
  • Order up at the cafe, it's the best fine food meal option in Austin, all served up casual cafe style. Them grab a seat by the playscape and enjoy the outdoors, followed by a lap round the pond.
  • Make sure your kids don't beat up other people's kids.
  • The salad and soup bar is amazing if you need lunch or dinner on the go. Fresh and real, beats fast food any day. Don't forget a stuffed grape leaf!
  • Don't even think about putting your tortilla soup toppings (chip strips and cheese) in another container to go home with you. They'll weigh it and charge you the salad bar weight price. Annoying!
  • Thur-Sunday they have live music. grab a bottle of wine and enjoy. get your spot early because they tend to get crowded.
  • Great place for kids to play while the grown-ups can relax. Even during hot summer days, the playground is well shaded by trees.
  • Grab a beer (or 24), a salad, and enjoy the live music on the patio. You'll have plenty to choose from.
  • $30 Thursday! Stop by the wine section every Thursday to sample a $30+ select bottle of wine.
  • This place is like a maze and they seem to rearrange it every few years. If you're hungry, try the $5 burger and fries in the cafe.
  • Cafe self-serve soda fountain has Stewarts Orange N Cream soda!
  • get meat ends - the dramatically reduced deli meats too small to slice. By the olive bar.
  • Salmon burger from the cafe, with a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. Outside.
