  • Yes, Mr. Campbell once lived here; and you are invited to come up and have a cocktail in his 1923 Florentine-style living room. The gifted mixologist behind the bar crafts a marvelous martini.
  • The scene from Gossip Girl's infamous Shepard wedding where Serena & Nate do their deed in Season 1 was filmed here. Great place and great atmosphere.
  • Enter through Cipriani on the balcony at Grand Central & you'll feel as if you have entered a bygone era. Drinks are expensive ($15 martini) but the atmosphere is worth it. Reserve a table in advance.
  • Find the hidden Campbell Apartment and have drinks by the fireplace.
  • A very cool concept, enter this hidden lounge and be transported into a classic '20s era with snazzy jazz old-school dcor. Try their signature drink, Prohibition Punch.
  • Wikipedia says of Bartender Jack, "He mixes strongest, yet sweetest Old Fashioned this side of the Hudson." Ginger margarita was also great. The Prohibition Punch is basically a $17 scorpion bowl tho.
  • Try the Prohibition Punch. It will change your life for the better.
  • FUN FACT: The space originally served as a private salon for 1920s financial mogul John W. Campbell.
  • The "dress code" apparently restricts jeans, t-shirts, and bags. So, 90% of the times you're at Grand Central you're not getting in.
  • Great secluded room to celebrate a closed deal!
  • Ask for a Sidecar. Not on the menu and looks girls, but packs a punch.
  • Swanky cocktails in Grand Central.
  • Kentucky Ginger is amazing
  • Great place to grab a drink before catching a train back to the outerboroughs/suburbs
  • make a reservation. no specials, no space, but worth finding
  • Perfect spot to meet a client for deal-closer drinks and Mad Men-esque atmosphere.
  • What's in the huge safe in the impressive fireplace? Another safe, apparently...
  • A classy stomping ground for the well-heeled professionals who can afford the pricey drinks. Your best tactic: dress up and carry a $20.just enough for one drink. If you don't score after that, leave.
  • Watch an episode of Mad Men before you go to really understand where you're at.
  • Beautiful space & extensive menu of "cocktails from another era.". Try the Prohibition Punch, sip at the bar or cozy up by the fireplace.
