Foursquare Tips

  • They serve the kind of home style food that a Latin family, any family in Latin America, would serve. Their shredded beef made me remember my mom's and the flan was great!
  • A nice mix of various Latino cultures, in both food and decor. Fast & friendly service, and some beautiful art on the walls. Be sure to get the platanos and the cafe con leche, both are fantastic.
  • Tasty, authentic no-nonsense Latin. Order the plantains, rice and beans, cubano sandwich and pollo limon.
  • Do NOT get the Mango frozen Margarita! It tastes like pure juice & they refused to add more tequila without charging me for a shot!
  • Good food. I remember when this place was very off the radar and their dishes were super reasonable. Now that people have gotten more hip to it, they really jacked up their prices.
  • My love and I came here for dinner the food, atmosphere, and service was great. Unfortunately our four square reward did not tell us that the deal did not apply to wknds
  • Awful food and service. Stay away!
  • In its attempt to provide home-style cooking, it's understandable that Cafe con Leche is a pretty no-frills establishment. Often, the best Latin food places are the simplest.
  • A neighborhood favorite that keeps getting better. Try the arroz con pollo
  • Great lunch deals. The pernil asado and arroz con pollo are amazing!
  • Unprentious good food that is cheap in a pleasant unrushed atmosphere.
  • Steak & Eggs inc. 1 drink for under $12!
  • Soy Cafe Leche is gr8
  • Never been disappointed w/ food or service. Had pescado en ajo y limn. Delightful!
  • The best cafe con leche in the city. It's our favorite brunch spot - we love the food and the staff - they know us and show their appreciation every time we walk through the door.
  • Breaded shrimp is amazing! And the mojitos, delicious!
