Foursquare Tips

  • Taking over the Irving Farm branch that used to be at this location, Birch Coffee extends their coffee roasting & cafe empire from the Gershwin Hotel to Chelsea.
  • Their iced coffee is on tap... Like draught beer style
  • Mmm the cheddar, tomato, and avocado grilled cheese. Perfect pair to a well-poured flat white.
  • Great granola bars! and the coffee is pretty good too.
  • Local brews... Everything from drip to cold brew to espresso/flat white. Try the scones and pop tarts. Drip coffee strong roast with bit of afterbite. Check out their curated Spotify play list.
  • Friendly staff, great cold brew, on-point selection of doughnuts, muffins, and scones from Dough, plus Balthazar croissants and magpie hand pies
  • While this location is smaller and doesn't offer the same food menu as their original spot, it still has the same great-quality coffee and service. Unfortunately, they also do not have power outlets.
  • This is the best coffee shop ever. I always get the soy latte but everything is amazing... Including the people.
  • Free WiFi via password, but it's limited to 30 minutes and requires an email which will be automatically signed for promotional material :-(
  • Try the Earl Grey cookies. They are unbelievably delicious.
  • Trendy spot, good coffee.
  • Contrary to its sister location on the east side, this small coffee shop does not serve sandwiches, but still serves a great coffee. If you trust me (and you should) a latte is all that you will need
  • Amazing drip coffee!
  • This is maybe my favorite latte anywhere. I get it large with regular milk
  • Cappuccino is really good
  • Cold brew growlers are perfect to take with you for long weekends outside the city.
  • Loving the almond croissant!
  • Customer at Birch Coffee.
  • My second Cortado here. Very nutty and light.
