Tips

  • Go potty before the tour.
  • Takes visitors around Pioneer Square above ground and also to a hidden Seattle that now lies underground. About 25 square blocks of Pioneer Square have hollow spaces under the sidewalks.
  • Show up early! Tours sell out like today.
  • Go to The Underground Cafe at 608 First Ave, in Seattles Pioneer Square, between Cherry Street and Yesler Way. Take the Seattle Underground Tour.
  • Don't bring a baby on the tour, you'll ruin it for the adults.
  • Do the "Adult tour"....it gives you so histories about early brothels in Seattle and prostitutes underground.
  • Look up and see where Seattle's early profiteers showed their wares.
  • You've gotta go when you're in Seattle!
  • Buy a beer at the cafe, and get seated for the pre-tour spiel before everyone else.
  • look for the ghoasts on the tour... ladies falling from ladders while crossing the old streets
  • Try to get Jim as your tour guide, he is engaging, funny and knowledgable. He does have a MFA in acting, so you won't be disappointed in the tour.
