Maple-Sriracha Pretzels
My mother made spicy pretzels every year around the holidays. A container would rarely last longer than a day or two in the house before being completely devoured. I think when I was about 15 I convinced her that she should (a) make more of them and (b) make them more frequently throughout the year. That little persuasion is, to this day, one of my proudest moments in life. This recipe isn't my mother's; it is, instead, a twist on her brilliance. And, I think I did a damn good job. Try it, you'll be satisfied! (Or your money back!) Click here to see 7 Easy Sriracha Recipes.

These are a spin on the popular bacon-wrapped dates; I just add a nutty twist to it. If you’re not in the mood to fry, skip the grapes (although I strongly suggest you don’t), but making the peanut-honey-cayenne purée to stuff the dates with is a must.

Vermont: Maple Squash Soup
It is probably no surprise that Vermont is the largest producer of maple syrup in the U.S., which is why we chose a soup that prominently features this sweet syrup.

Maple Bourbon Barbecue Sauce
Whenever I find a food or an ingredient I like, the first thing I want to do, after eating it, is find a way to make it better myself. And typically, when I go to do that I end up adding bourbon to whatever recipe I am creating. This time I also added maple syrup and it was a great decision. This barbecue sauce is a definitely a little on the sweet side with just enough of a kick! Click here to see Cooking with Maple Syrup — 8 Recipes.

Pumpkin Flan with Maple Syrup
This dessert is so easy to make — it only takes five minutes to assemble then the rest of the work is done in the oven. The flan needs to be chilled before serving so it’s a great make-ahead dessert. — Curry and Comfort

Maple-Glazed Pork Chops
Four ingredients, 20 minutes — this is one quick, flavorful main. I chose bone-in pork chops for flavor — Berkshire bone-in, to be exact, which is well worth the extra dough if you want some good marbling. The glaze is a simple riff on honey mustard, and it caramelizes on the surface of the pork as it grills. If it sticks, use a thin metal fish spatula to help loosen the meat from the grill. Maple-Glazed Salmon
This is my go-to, I'm-too-tired-tired-to-cook-something-hearty favorite. There is something about the rich, buttery flavor of the salmon that melds beautifully with the sweet maple syrup and crisp and salty bacon. And aside from a stop at your local fish market, it comes together easily (and in less than 10 minutes). Serve with a side of steamed snow peas and roasted butternut squash for a healthy, hearty, and utterly delicious meal. Click here to see The New and Improved Farm-Raised Salmon story.
