Quick: Name two perfect breakfast foods. Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and French toast, you say? So do we. So why not combine the two?
Even though the idea sounds like it might have been hatched late at night in a college dorm room, and we're sure it was at some point in time, we decided to go all-in and see what we could come up with. Thick slices of brioche-style pullman loaf get a soaking in salted eggs and a brown on the griddle, then two slices get filled with thick-sliced bacon and American cheese and finish melting in the oven.
