Foursquare Tips

  • God damn hipster central.
  • Gotta try: the blonde Zucker Weisse, a sour wheat beer that becomes transcendent with a splash of woodruff (a green syrup reminiscent of vanilla and chamomile) or raspberry syrup.
  • Come find the RFT Street Team at the Craftoberfest until 10 pm tonight!
  • Great place to enjoy a birthday!
  • Half Crown is the new Urban Chestnut's idea of a "session IPA," meaning it has the dry-hopped aroma and flavor of an American India pale ale but with a restrained alcohol content. (Evan S. Benn)
  • Order the hot blonde guy with the scruff and the Aaron Eckhart chin who always checks me out...totes worth it.
  • The live music is quiet enough that you can still talk. Beir garden on a summer night is perfect... Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the pretzels are a must with beer!
  • Get the beer flights so you can taste all of the brews.
  • The original. Awesome outdoor Biergarten for nice days (way more than Grove location), and warm cozy interior. A lot of their beers are here first!
  • This is the best brewery in STL.
  • Super friendly/ helpful people working there..LOVE most of their beers!! Definitely would recommend!!
  • The Winged Nut has an usual but great taste
  • The Count Orlok Black Pumpkin Ale has a lighter quality (some hints of banana) mixed in with the pumpkin flavors. Scary good! http://bit.ly/1dXRMP3
  • Love the all the brews I've tried so far, great service and tasty snacks!
  • Try the sampler. $5 for four different beers. A unique chance to experience Urban Chestnut. Food: pretzels <-$5
  • Love the Pierre's Wit!
  • Check out glass washer - really cool. Zwickel is my favorite
  • Try a winged nut!
  • Beers, pretzel sticks, sandwiches.
  • Beer is great! Grab a huge liter Stein for only $10! You won't regret it!
