Tips

  • love this place...fukin tuesgayz...work it
  • Wear disposable shoes. Be a disposable soul.
  • If you love the DJ's taste and want to look at the playlist, Barbarella's website provides a track-by-track recap of the night before.
  • If you ever decide to stop by, make sure it's on a Tuesday! TuesGayz is a guaranteed good time. Tracks are curated by (DJ) the Glitoris--he never fails to play poppish classics and awesome remixes.
  • The best night to go is Tuesday for TuesGayz. The music is awesome. The dance floor is packed. But beware, you will be a hot sweaty mess by the end of the night.
  • Best place to end your night!
  • Perfect place to get freaky on the dance floor. You won't be kicked out at 2am either if you want to keep dancing - just have to give up your booze!
  • If you're drunk and falling over, leave immediately to avoid being embarrassed in front of the entire bar. Unless you're hot, then you'll just be helped.
  • The best 80's dance nights in Austin!
  • It's like a dance party every Saturday!
  • TuesGayz!!! Good music, good dancing, good company.
  • best bar ever
  • "Tuezgays" and Saturdays are my favorite times to go. This place has epic dance floor space and its perfect for ending the night. I've had so many great times here!
  • The spacious back area compensates for the delightfully tight dance floor. You can get your groove on then step outside for a breather.
  • DJ refuses to play Prince request at dance party. Patrons leave.
  • The best bar on Saturday!
  • Fucking hate this place but if you need cocaine you can find it here
  • Only place to be on Tuezgay
  • Lines blow! So sneak in thru Barbarella's sister bar, Swan Dive, to get your groove on quicker.
  • If it's open, go to the upstairs bar. It's usually way less crowded.
