The Alibi Restaurant & Lounge is a tiki bar mixed with a dive bar. One of Portland's oldest tiki bars, it still has a lot of the original decor, which is paired with dive bar additions like video poker.

  • Alibi's layout allows patrons to experience either the karaoke bar or the tiki bar, which is kind of like having to choose between two different forms of terminal cancer.
  • Glorious nachos, glorious...
  • I lost my karaoke virginity here! :D ended up turning into a giant dance party while singing along to Sir Mix Alots "Baby Got Back"
  • Order the fruit punch.....a few times.
  • Amazing tiki bar with great karaoke and kitsch aplenty. If you love Hula Hula in Seattle, this place will make you feel right at home (and then some). Love the drinks is kinda meh though.
  • Fun place for drinks before or after an event at the Rose Garden. Just a quick hop on the MAX!
  • You gotta check out the malibu chicken sandwich with dijon mustard.
  • The crowd is a mix of awesome! Packs early on the weekend, trippy tiki Spongebob party vibes.
  • The Zombie drink... "limit two per person" had me feelin some type of way Tropical absinthe long island type of thing..
  • Happy hour (3-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. weekends). Great drink deals and cheap pub grub. Spring for the $7.95 prawn cocktail and taste a little actual paradise.
  • Drinks & food have gone up and the drink menu seems to have shrunk. In the bar tonight or seems to be peeler bar music. Something Tropical would be nice. Time to eat is happy hour and Sundays
  • I go before karaoke starts. Karaoke is Japanese for REALLY BAD "singing!"
  • It's kitschy and dive-y. There's karaoke. Sometimes there's a buffet (what?)
  • The menu is nearly bereft of vegetation options, but the yakisoba noodles with peanut sauce are hearty and delicious.
  • Tiki bar themed. Drink of the day at discounted price. You need at least 4 people to share the nachos.
  • Get a Mai Tai!
  • EVERYTHING is good about this joint.
  • Best bar in Portland
  • Really awesome kitschy decor
  • The music and mic are quite loud in the karaoke room. Bring earplugs in case you're seated near the speakers.
