  • The Crispy Georgia Shrimp and Grits is amazing. If you're there with a group, you can't go wrong with the dessert sampling.
  • Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison have created another remarkable restaurant. The pair has been at the forefront of farm-to-table dining and Abattoir featuring, local proteins is an example of that.
  • Farmer-chef duo Anne Quatrano and Cliff Harrisons meat-centric Abattoir, fittingly located in an old slaughterhouse facility, uses local beef for its beloved bacon cheeseburger.
  • The Pork rillettes offer a naughty take on breakfast that's more appropriate for gobbling with cocktails.
  • Don't miss "monkey bread" .... risotto was also "interesting"
  • The often overstewed offal takes a decidedly featherweight turn here. Its braised, sliced thin, and teamed with a chunk of crisp-tender pork belly, fresh romano beans & tomatoes in a light broth.
  • Get the fried ceci peas! Addictive!
  • Abattoir is affiliated with the best cheese shop in town, Star Provisions. Don't skip the cheese plate
  • Order at least 1 item in a mason jar. Yum!

  • The maple bacon beignets are life affirming. The local pork tasting was a bit dry, but everything else has consistently been excellent.
  • BEST RESTAURANT IN ATLANTA HANDS DOWN.. Well that's if you eat meat.. Can't wait to come back.. Incredible!!

  • Besides joining the whole-animal trend of eating everything from the ears to the tail, the restaurant is also a response to the recession. Expect comparatively low prices and quality food.
