Foursquare Tips

  • Lining up for BBQ at 4505 Divis is the new lining for toast at the Mill (across the road).
  • Bring a jacket or two or three. It's mostly outdoor seating and it's San Francisco. It will be brisket out.
  • Bring 5 friends and order The Presidential.
  • Better get there early if you're thinking about brisket or ribs.
  • Bring 5 friends and order the presidential. You may want a bit more of the pulled pork or chicken since there isn't a ton.
  • Frankaroni is as tasty as you would expect for something made of pasta, cheese, sausage and deep fried.
  • Mac and cheese. Oh, and the meat!
  • Pulled pork sandwich is a winner.
  • Get the amazing deep-fried mac-and-cheese cake known as the Frankaroni ($5), which is studded with bits of 4505's own bacon-studded hot dog. And you might want to add some chimichurri fries to that.
  • Vegetarians should get the Grits & Egg Vegetarian Sandwich.
  • Get your brisket, ribs, & burger on at Ryan Farr's takeover of Divis' former Da' Pitt, where you'll be greeted with fried mac and cheese, draft brews, and other delights.
  • One if the best in SF. Alas, that says more about the paucity of good BBQ in SF than it does about the craft here. Adequate if you don't have time to smoke your own.
  • A bit overpriced. Beef brisket is fantastic.
  • Everything about this place makes me happy. Tasty BBQ, quick arrive and fantastic beer. Try the IPA and two choice plate. The ribs are perfectly cooked. Make sure to smother everything in their sauce!
  • MEAT MEAT MEAT YES
  • The burger is good but they don't have tomatoes. I usually get the pulled pork sandwich
  • Fried Mac n cheese!!
  • Excellent vegetarian sandwich - egg, cheesy grits, green chili, and arugula made for plenty of flavor. And don't miss the baked beans! We also enjoyed the cheeseburger, though it was rather...petite.
  • Great bbq for sure
  • Pulled pork sandwich
