About Super Cyser and Afton Field 2013:
Super Cyser: Instilled with the friendship and passion of Nectar Creek & 2 Towns Ciderhouse, this collaboration 16% abv Super Cyser blends fresh Northwest apples with rich Willamette Valley honey. Fermented in French oak barrels with wild yeast and matured for over 18 months, this dessert style cyser blooms with notes of dried apricots, wood and honey.
Afton Field: As settlers moved across the rugged landscape of the West, they brought with them a staple of the frontier-cider apples. These orchards still dot the Oregon countryside today, a testament to their tenacity. Using fresh-pressed, hand-picked pioneer apples, the Afton Field, 6.5% abv, cider ferments in oak barrels and is bottle conditioned with wild Brettanomyces yeast. Bone dry, un-filtered and un-compromising, this farmhouse cider is wild at heart and at home on the rustic table. The Afton Field is a very clean, complex, farmhouse style cider made using pioneer apples. It is un-fined, un-filtered and bottle conditioned. The Afton Field is a dry, delicate, yet wonderfully aromatic cider full of intense dried hay aromas and the ephemeral essence of late-season sour green apples and sweet fall dew.
