Tips

  • Barebones-casual Middle Eastern serving food that's soulful, delicious, and a great bargain.
  • Yummy yummy the best Arabic restaurant in New York ,, I love it
  • Try the Lamb Soup - So delicious and loaded with lamb that I forgot to try to pick out the CIA agents in the restaurant.
  • Complementary, delicious, flavorful tea(and lamb soup for the carnivores). Really nice staff. Great baba and hummus.
  • .. ..
  • Huge portions of delicious melt-in-the-mouth lamb haneeth and salta, complimentary lamb soup, unlimited sweet hot chai (self-service), soft and fresh warm flatbread...YUM!
  • Delicious babaganoug and hummus! Puffy bread they serve with it is dangerously good.
  • Order Haneez with Kabsa rice
  • It's a must
  • Haneeth Haneeth Haneeth!
  • Not sure abt the hype. Haneeth was dry and not huge (there was a ton of rice). People rant abt the free soup/salad but the entree costs $20 for a reason. Go if ur in the hood but don't make a trip.
  • Yummy is an understatement! Run, don't walk here and enjoy an authentic Middle Eastern meal- flatbread, soup, and all!
  • Try the Haneeth Lamb - So Good! And recommended by 4 our 5 CIA agents. (The 5th one isn't talking.)
  • Try the Hummus - Incredible! My favorite thing dish!
  • Try the Salta - Lamb and okra stew served in a cast iron bowl that sizzled and steamed for nearly 10 minutes! Wow!
  • Try the Yemeni Pita Bread - Thick, chewy and perfect for hummus & stew! ...and recommended by CIA agent regulars.
  • !!
  • The best Arab restaurant in Brooklyn!
  • Our food critic Robert Sietsema says the Haneez is so tender and flavorful that a toothless guy could enjoy it. Its ranked number 2 on his top lamb dishes in NYC.
