Foursquare Tips

  • If you have a student id still it is 15 % off
  • West Elm is my go-to store for terrarium and plant containers (and inspiration). Although their succulent selection is robust, it's often poor quality. They sell nice air plants and pots.
  • Don't talk to the mustachioed, long haired manager with glasses. His people skills are terrible and he will make you want to drop a mid-century terrarium over his head to get him to shut the eff up.
  • Bypass the rows of furniture home goods and head to the back of the West Elm store in Chelsea to get to the bathroom. It's clean and super convenient. [Best In-Store Bathrooms in NYC]
  • Public bathroom and water fountain make it an urban oasis!
  • Ask for furniture advice from Sarah Hatch or Parker. Both of 'em are insightful, fun & genuine (they won't try to up$ell you!)
  • Come just for the AC and sit for awhile...
  • West Elm has some different inventory than West Elm Market (in DUMBO), so exchanges between the two may not be possible FYI.
  • Rebecca is amazing! Ask for her
  • Affordable chic furniture that's really nice
  • Staff are super nice
  • Terrible customer service. Delivery dates are all wrong. Overpriced low quality furniture.
  • Rude staff giving me attitude..
  • Amazing furniture. Staff are really slow!
  • The staff here is very helpful and patient
  • Great furniture, awful staff
  • Bought some bench stools from here that have worked out OK. Couches were a bit Meh.
  • They have treats for your pup!
  • Today is the last day on side tables sale. 20 percent. Nabbing a few for my clients.
  • They never have enough people working on the weekends. Good luck getting help.
