  • Explore 100 years of aviation history with interactive exhibits that include piloting a space shuttle, air traffic control, program a Mars rover, launch a rocket, & even climb aboard a WWII bomber!
  • The Virginia Air and Space Center features an extensive exhibit on the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African-Americans who flew fighter planes during WWII.
  • Great museum but a lot of their stuff was outdated or broken. Sort of sad because it had so much potential.
  • Some of the interactive exhibits were being fixed. But, overall, great place for both adults and kids. IMAX theater is HUGE, great prices if you are purchasing with a ticket. Military/Spouse disc.
  • Command Module from Apollo mission
  • Great place to stop in for a visit.
  • Awesome place to visit.
  • Interactive exhibits are fun for adults and kids. The docents are knowledgable and very friendly!
  • Everything! It's a really fun place for adults and kids. I want to go back when my son is older.
  • Lots of fun! Be sure to check out the solarium.
  • This place is great.
  • Nice, some displays need fixing. Still informational, and clean.
  • A lot of cool stuff, but so much of it is broken, it was kinda disappointing.
  • Apollo 12 CSM, " Yankee Clipper" resides here on display. As part of the rivalry between the all Navy crew, and the all Air Force back-up crew, playmate photo's made it into mission checklists.
  • A lot of the interactive exhibits were not working. For the price of the admission, they should work.
  • Checked this out because we were staying at the Crowne Plaza and are aerospace nuts. It's really not for adults. Skip it unless you're with kids 6-12. Also, many interactive exhibits are broken.
  • SQWAIDS!!!
  • Ice Skating Rocks
  • LFCU teller here is very convenient.
