Foursquare Tips

  • The Village Smokehouse gets my vote for the best BBQ in Boston, but please don't stand to close to the open fire pit - my eyebrows still haven't grown back in yet.
  • The Pulled Pork sandwich is a bit small, but the meat is tender. Their one ketchup-based BBQ sauce is excellent. Side note: the Southern Sunset cocktail is a delectable twist on the Alabama Slammer.
  • Try the Pulled Pork Sandwich
  • Get The Texas Size Ribs !!!!
  • Food is great but I hate sharing a table with weirdos
  • Meh. Only thing I could eat was a bunless burger. :( don't come.
  • I have to go here before I move.
  • Just changed name from Village Smokehouse to Magnolia Smokehouse - new menu but same staff - all good!
  • Cold beer and beef ribs flame grilled on a fire pit. What's not to like!
  • Ok food. Not much for vegetarians (duh). Good apple pie!
  • Great spot with a secret. Get the BBQ rib appetizer with your desired sides. You get 1/2 a rack for like $10 and it's incredibly filling for any normal sized patriot.
  • Some meats were great, others were not, but the pecan pie was delectable.
  • House-smoked meats and an open grill, watch those flames leapin!
  • Excellent corn bread and BBQ but service is hit or miss. Their babyback ribs are not to be missed.
  • California burger with bacon and guacamole! A W E S O M E!!
  • Must have Stuffed Jalapeno
  • The. Texas. Hawg
  • The fried buffalo shrimp are amazing!
  • The Village Smokehouse transports customers right to the wild west. An open barbecue pit is centrally located crowd-pleaser, and meat lovers will enjoy the hours-long hickory-smoked chicken and ribs.
  • Great grilled swordfish also!!!
