Tips

  • get wasted
  • Bobby Flay travels downtown for traditional Irish pub food at Ulysses in New York City's Financial District on Food Network's FoodNation with Bobby Flay. Find more tips at Food Network Local.
  • be there for happy hour during the wee if it's nice out. great outdoor crowd.
  • Best beer menu on stone street!
  • Sunday brunch for $20 is outstanding.
  • Come on Tuesday Nights for free beer samples from around the world. Try the burger or the chicken pot pie.
  • Ask for Martin and do a Jameson shot with him. He is one of the best bartenders there and tells great stories in his thick, authentic Scottish accent.
  • Long wood tables and outdoor seating make Ulysses an excellent after-work spot come summer, and offers cozy candlelit indoor space in the winter.
  • Lots of single guys on Friday after work for happy hour. Grab a pint or a martini and chat it up!
  • Go there for weekend brunch! Great buffet: Guinness or Bloody Mary. Raw bar. Made-to-order eggs. Carving station...
  • Go to Ulysses' and hit the late Friday carving-board lunch with a cold beer on stone st.
  • Basically don't come here. It's now a tourist trap. Service is a disaster. I'm in the middle of my meal and I can assure you. This is a shithole. Do not come. Seafood chowder has no seafood.
  • Save the date!
  • Trivia here is slow and lame. Go elsewhere.
  • Sunday all-you-can-eat brunch is $25 and worth every penny!
  • This place gets packed with not so hot chicks craving sausage, and I'm not taking about bangers n mash. Steer clear!
  • Go to the brunch on Sunday afternoon. Great deal: $20 for all you can eat buffet and complementary mimosa. Also includes raw oysters.
  • Shepherds pie and fish n chips were excellent. Extensive and interesting imported beer selection. We were lucky to be there on a Sat night with a live band playing Irish music. Was very good
  • Surprised that they had oysters. More surprised that they were really good. Try them.
  • You can catch me on Fridays 7-11 spinning for the after work crowd. ;)
