Foursquare Tips

  • Forget the Guinness, go with a local: La Cumbre Elevated IPA on draft.
  • Best fish n' chips in town. Sunday brunch is awesome, too! Bottled beer wise, go for the Nocturnm Delirum, but if you have more than one make sure you've got a driver.
  • Best fish & chips I've had in years! Great tasting and huge portions.
  • The Irish Nachos are delicious. A plate of those by the fire with friends is a great way to start the night.
  • Have a real irish beer, Smithwicks (pron. Smidicks)
  • Best comfort food! Best atmosphere!!!
  • Try the Liffey good!
  • Just a great place to have a beer.
  • The smoked salmon appetizer makes a great light meal to go with that full-meal Guiness beer.
  • Definitely try the chicken pot pie. Unique with the green chili etc.
  • The pot pie is excellent!
  • Best fish and chips in the southwest.
  • Definitely try the Shepards pie and for dessert, the Scotch Ice Cream!
  • Fish and chips.. wow. Absolute best!!
  • Go with the Fish and Chips (one piece is plenty)... also save room for the Bread Pudding
  • This is one of the best places on Nob Hill. The food is good and the drinks are on point! It's not touristy either. The fools gold is a damn good cocktail!
  • Everything. The very best in the southwest.
  • Good beer selection, some authentic English/ Irish fare and often has live music.
  • On fish & chips: fish is great. Chips are rubbish, McDonald's like shoestring fries. If I could get the fish from Two Fools and the chips from Horse & Angel, I'd be far happier.
  • Their fish and chips is the best in town!
