Foursquare Tips

  • In a word: disappointing. Flat beers, uninspired service, cold fries. There is so much potential here but it is wasted.
  • Drink Charlie's beer. It's good.
  • Butternut Squash Soup...delicious!!! Beers go without saying, always perfect!
  • The bar menu is a great value
  • Try the Goulasch
  • I really enjoyed the skate.
  • Lunch menu is excellent. Try any of the beers on the hand pump.
  • The warm Apple Pie Sundae is excellent!
  • If you're a beer lover you will be disappointed. I had such high hopes for this place but was let down.

  • The TR Grass Fed burger is outstanding. Say "hi" to Charlie, the brewmaster. Best craft beer in NJ!

  • The food here is fairly respectable, but the service leaves much to be desired.
  • The corn muffins and pretzels are great. Beer: sometimes quite tasty, sometimes just ok. Appetizers consistently yummeh also small.
  • The IPA is fantastic. And get a growler to go.
  • Kestel amber IPA is great
  • Oh hey, pulled-pork mac and cheese topped with piles and piles of gooey cheese. Pleasure to meet you.
  • Get the $10 sampler to try 6 of their beers...well worth it :)
  • Trap Rock, a brewpub in Berkley Heights, is an upscale imagining of the pub scene with items like filet mignon and tuna tartare, but more classic pub faire as well such as burgers. Beer brewed here
  • The Chicken is incredible and the Filet Mignon is outstanding.
