Foursquare Tips

  • Try omakase made by famous chef Mr. Tojo.
  • Assorted nigiri
  • If you order $500 worth of food at tojos you get free pepsi refills... Best food in Vancouver!
  • Try Omakase..
  • The uni nigiri is ridiculously good!! On a whole other level!!
  • Probably the biggest rip off and most overhyped place I've ever eaten. If you like average sushi at 3 to s times what its worth come here otherwise don't bother
  • Weird vibe, but incredible food. Don't second guess yourself, go for the Omakase.
  • Get the Omakase. Sit at the bar. House sake is the best.
  • Omakase (pronounce it oh-mah-kah-seh) at Tojos is an iconic Vancouver culinary experience. Order with hot, then cold sake!
  • Put yourself in the chef's hands. This is not your ordinary sushi spot. Cooked dishes are awesome and the best isn't on the menu. You get what you pay for ( a lot)
  • Get the Shiitake Mushroom. It's bliss!
  • Some of the freshest and best sushis/sashimis lovingly prepared by Chef Tojo (an institution!). Splurge on omakase.
  • The best of Vancouver sushi is Tojos. Order omakase style and Chef Hidekazu Tojo will create the menu for you; his bold flavors and combinations are worth the expense.
  • Bow to the master sushi chef of Vancouver. Be prepared to throw down some serious cash.
  • Omakase - my experience
  • Expensive sushi but worth it. Go for broke ($60+) and get the Omakase, the chef will make whatever and you'll really enjoy it.
  • best japanese in vancouver...just be willing to drop a couple bills...
  • The local tuna sashimi and tataki are the best I've ever had! And ask for the magnum PI roll (not on menu).
  • Do it.
  • Order the chopped scallop roll and dragon roll. For drinks, order the Tojo-tini.
