  • Don't jump.
  • You should really put your phone away and enjoy the view.
  • Beautiful views make for a romantic evening
  • Buy the city pass you can see up to six attractions for $69.
  • Take the monorail to or from 5th & Pine for only $2 each way. Plus you HAVE to see the view during the day & in the evening. Book a ressie at Sky City for dinner & get the Lunar Orbiter for dessert.
  • Take the monorail from Westlake Center (a mall at 5th & Pine) to the Space Needle (only makes those 2 stops). It's $2.25/way, but an experience in itself, as it was built in 1962 for the World's Fair.
  • Skip the elevator and take the stairs!
  • Aside from the great views, who knew that you'd get "adult beverages" at the viewing platform. Definitely a nice plus. Had a great time and would do it again!
  • Great view go at night the lines are a lot smaller and less crowded.
  • Even if you are terrified of heights like I am, go to the top! The elevator ride only lasts about 80 seconds and the views from the top are phenomenal! So worth overcoming fear of heights for a day!
  • If going with the kids, make it more fun by having a scavenger hunt as you walk around the deck. Here's what we look for:- sea plane- skyscrapers- ferry- Lake Union- fountain- cruise ship
  • Visit it at day and night so you can see both views and make sure you visit it on a day that isn't super cold, rainy or cloudy ;o)
  • No strollers allowed up the observation deck- so leave it behind. They won't even allow you to keep them negus the counter in the shop.
  • Email your friends and family a free picture!
  • Free parking weeknights after 6pm
  • Be prepared: you must buy tickets in advance, they get sold out quickly; once its time to go up, youll have to make a line- you might end up going up after your time slot. Views are worth it though!
  • Great view from the restaurant that actually turns slowly so your view changes from mountains to city to the bay.
  • Try the deck on a clear day or night so you can see better.
  • Every penny worth
  • It's FUN To Play Eye-Spy On The Space Needle's Observation Deck!! =D
