Foursquare Tips

  • Make sure to get a side of spicy miso!
  • Best ramen in LA! New & cleaner than Daikokoya (my 1st ramen love)
  • Est bien pinche bueno :9
  • Hakata ramen is rich and porky. The 1/2 size is enough for a moderate appetite at lunch.
  • Miso horny
  • They have NEW toppings! The waiters aare louder than usual but I LOVE their fried rice and of course their ramen ***** :)
  • Very authentic ramen with delicious broth. Noodles here are some of the best in LA.
  • One is the loneliest number -- except if you crave ramen without a wait. I was able to walk right in and order. My perfect bowl includes extra chashu, green chili butter bomb, and corn. Delicious.
  • I like anything w eggs n veggies!!.. Hard boiled eggs...poached eggs....mmmm
  • Tuna Yukke with kimchi is awesome.
  • Make sure to order the garlic oil. It makes the ramen taste amazing.
  • Gyoza are these cute little ones. No wonder they order a 12 piece portion. Flavored egg is hard boiled...should have gotten the poached one. Broth is killer...great flavor & the perfect consistency.
  • The Yaki (Pan Fried) hakata ramen is really good if you don't feel like broth. Good alternative.
  • If they don't have the spicy miso, order the green chili.
  • Order the special Crunchy toppings!
  • They offer custom toppings not found in the Gardena menu!
  • My absolute favorite ramen! You can choose the firmness of the noodle and choose your toppings--flavored eggs, kimchi, spinach, garlic--to be added as you like. Nom nom!
  • Gotta get the Hakata Ramen w/ pork belly!
  • Best Ramen in LA. There is a crowd that begins to form after 9pm, since other ramen places close.
  • I was excited to try this place, but the experience I got was so and so. Service was great, but the ramen fell flat. The broth is pretty oily and I felt a bit sick after. Still a good place though.
