Tips

  • Pelicans nest's food is good! I recommend coming at sunset. It is beautiful. The service is good too!
  • No hot tub or poolside bar? Fail.
  • Best brunch ever. The French toast is amazing !!!
  • Pool on the beach - need I say more!
  • Overlook the ocean at sunrise. The view is amazing.
  • Stiff, pretentious and haughty.
  • Beautiful building and beach scenery!
  • Everything
  • Rent bikes for your stay! Awesome place to ride around!
  • "ZEUS" salad is awesome.
  • Stick with the Pelican's Nest...the restaurants in the Island Club, itself are disappointing at best. The staff tries hard but their professionalism falls short of a real fine dining establishment.
  • Make sure you wear a proper shirt and khakis to fit in with the rest of the old folks with no fashion sense
  • The dessert chef is amazing. Indulge!!!
  • Make sure you check out the horse stables (bring them some carrots and you'll be a friend forever:) and also make your way into Fresh Fields Village, great shopping, and restaurants.
  • Recommended: crab cake sandwiches, peel and eat shrimp, dark & stormy's, and pia coladas with a floater of Goslins.
  • Always set under an umbrella at the Pelican's Nest.
