Tips
- Classic Chicago joint serves solid Italian-American dishes, but most people visit for the old school charm and roving musicians.
- Dark, classy-tacky and tasty. A preserved old-timey mobster-type hang out.
- Couples should snag a booth, the perfect spot for sipping a bottle of Chianti and enjoying signature cheesy garlic bread. Ricotta-filled manicotti and gnocchi in meat sauce wont disappoint.
- Very good food; service was too rushed.
- The oysters Rockefeller, delicious, first time I had them, and I think is the best meal I could have this week, with a lovely company!!!!!!
- Veal piccante is where it's at.
- Baked Alaska is the best in town! But love the entrees. And reasonable drink priced.
- Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
- Awesome, get a lot for the money.
- Shrimp De Jonghe is fresh, ricotta-filled gnocchi in meat sauce wont disappoint, and the New York strip is seasoned only with salt and pepper before hitting the grill for a spot-on medium rare.
- quite, dark, old school Italian....
- Like dinner with family
- Veal Sorintino was fantastic! Super thin, cut it with a spoon! Great service from Kris!
- Great piano player on Friday and Saturday. :)
- Food is average but Oysters Rockeller are worth the trip alone. They are the best in Chicago. A large and loud restaurant that's been around forever. Great for parties. Something homey & charming.
- Best Italian in Chicago
- Try the Richard's special. Delicious
- Everything
- Veal dishes are fantastic
- Sabatino's has quite the Italian charm with drifting musicians, dim lighting, and tuxedoed servers. The vibe is complete with authentic Italian dishes from the Chicken Vesuvio to their Baked Alaska.
