It may be Christmas but neither The New School or Southeast Portland’s beer bar Roscoe’s is taking much time off, Roscoe’s opens today at 6pm and tomorrow Friday 12/26 they celebrate their 8th Anniversary Party. Roscoe’s is turning 8 years old, it’s hard to believe one of our great beer bars has been around that long but they spent the first handful of years toiling without recognition to become the destination for beer they are now.
Let’s celebrate starting at 2pm with some of Roscoe’s favorite breweries and beers represented:
Hair of the Dog (Bourbon Fred), Deschutes (The Abyss), Boneyard (Notorious IIIPA), Double Mountain (Sinister 7), Oakshire (“8″, Super rare keg of this Oakshire anniversary beer), Green Flash (Barrel Aged Super Freak), Alesmith (IPA), Russian River (Pliny the Elder and Supplication), Elysian (Knock on wood IPA, the first beer to be aged in their new foeders), Crux (Bourbon Barrel Tough Love), Commons (Special Barrel-aged beer), Logsdon (Vintage Barrel Aged Seizoen Bretta), and many more!
