Foursquare Tips

  • The Mt Adams Incline terminated here. It was completed in 1878 and was the last of Cincinnati's inclines to close in 1948. From the collection of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
  • EAT HERE! The food (unlike anything else you in Cincinnati), the drinks (all unique and delicious!), and the atmosphere (old Rook Wood Pottery kilns you eat inside of) all add to the experience.
  • The outdoor area is beautiful
  • Deep fried bacon. The end.
  • The house tonic is fabulous.. get the gin and house tonic
  • Amazing views of the city at night! The bacon wrapped dates and roasted cauliflower were excellent. Boomer burger was also great!
  • Look no further for a unique dining experience. The Barnsdale Burger is absolutely delicious. Try and score a table in one of the beehive kilns if you can.
  • Go with a group and make sure you eat in a kiln!
  • Fig Burger and a Bourbon Flip. Do It!
  • The fig burger is my new favorite burger. And I'm not a burger person. Get it with the side salad. Yum.
  • Pancakes are the largest I've ever seen.
  • A great menu in a wonderful historic building above the city. The pork belly sandwich with Grippo's fries was my choice and I loved it.
  • Always the Mussels!!! The Bruschetta!! The best service I've ever had and the best food always!
  • The Barnsdale burger was delicious! Fries were just okay. Very expensive place but the food was pretty good and atmosphere is cool!
  • The patio is great! The lamb and grits small plates are soo good!
  • Celebrating Selena's 18th Birthday!!!
  • Scrumptious chickpea salad, bread pudding and goat cheese bruschetta - all from the comfort of a kiln
  • Great dining experience.
  • Great burgers, and atmosphere
  • Great burger. Love the charcuterie board here. Huge craft beer selection here.
