Foursquare Tips

  • Fish steamboat & tou fou is yummy!
  • Amazing fishhead steamboat with charcoal as fuel. Get their set meal if possible.
  • Red Grouper always the favourite pick. Prawn rolls are nice. Spinach with the small ikan billis. *if you're adventurous, scope a bowl of soup and a spoon of the garlic chilli. Drink it. It's nice.
  • Love that they still use charcoal for the steamboat. We were a party of four and ordered the pomfret along with a few extras and had quite the feast.
  • Fish soup is best ever. Just one hotpot to share with a bowl of rice is the best way to end the day.
  • One of the best i have tasted. Pured mango, not too sweet and smooth!!!
  • Spicy Indonesian Chicken ... It's like a modified Kung Pao.
  • Cereal Prawn! Average.
  • We had a choice btw groupa or batang!! Good soup - refillable... We chose groupa!! Yumz
  • Their set meal, a tad pricey... $108 (without taxes) ... But they are quite flexible to the fish U choose or the vege U choose ..
  • Nice oatmeal prawns, can ask for shell to be removed
  • fish soup over charcoal . try the empress chicken , the prawn wrap ..
  • Fried spinach was fresh and well fried ... Not overdone!!
  • I liked the chilli crab! Fresh!! Thin shell! Had egg roe! Yums! Most of all I loved the tangy sauce!! Found myself gulping spoonfuls down!
  • We ordered both the fried mee sua and fried tanghoon.
  • Hei Zhor was very dense and did not set off fireworks in my mouth! Preferred the ones at Deans Cafe!!
  • Cereal prawn also nothing spectacular ... But prawns were fresh!!
  • The pork rib is nothing spectacular but we loved the crisp cod slices that were used to garnish the dish !!
  • The use of charcoal to heat up the soup gives eating it a sense of novelty; ask for a refill of the tasty soup!! we had the pomfret because the texture of the fish was smoother.
  • The fried asparagus I really loved.... Crisp and tasty!!
