  • The gumbo is so damned incredible. Available both at Sunday brunch and throughout the week, it has become a dining-out staple for everyone I know who tries it. Eat.
  • A side of bourbon syrup will take the flaky, fried goodness of Tupelo's Chicken and Waffles to the next level.

  • Two must-try sides: the jalapeno mac and cheese; and the house pickle, which is not just a pickled cucumber but a bunch of spicy, pickled vegetables, including cucumbers. Mmmmm.

  • A must go for Sunday Brunch! Sit at the bar and chat with the amazing bartender and order the chicken and waffles! Finish off with one of the many mimosas they have to offer.
